Who Killed 24

Like Mr. Burns, JR, and numerous Kennedys, Henchman 24 was tragically taken down on yesterday's episode of The Venture Brothers. And while everyone was wondering what is Brock going to do, I am determining the suspects of the next great TV murder mystery. The next episode won't air till Fall of 2009, so unless we figure it out now while the clues are fresh, we'll never figure it out.

The Murder
While just exiting the Monarch car, 24 was caught in a huge explosion. The likely cause of such an explosion was from H.E.L.P.eR. who was strapped with several pounds of C4. However the remote detonator for the explosion was shown to be left inside the Monarch's cocoon on the throne.

Points of Interest

• The remote inside the cocoon leads one to a member of the Monarch's group or someone with previous access to the cocoon.
• The explosion would of been caused through alternate means, such as a car bomb or rocket. The scene cut left the possibility.
• The person wanted Brock Samson alive and where he was or 24 dead. We will dismiss H.E.L.P.eR.s possible need of death since he has "died"several times in the past.

The Suspects

Dr. Mrs. The Monarch
Might of set of the timer with her butt but the possibility of the killer being her is minimal as she was cleaning vomit off of The Monarch at the time. Included just so I can talk about vomit.

Nameless Hetchman
This is another long shot. That there is a new Hetchman that will replace 24 and he/she/it decided that 24 had to go to make room.

Hetchman #1
This one is my personal favorite. Hetchman #1 survived Brock's attack on him at Spider Skull Island and has taken our revenge on 24 for suggesting he would die. Then leaving him to the wolves so to speak.

Dr. Henry Killinger
Long shot but he has access to the cocoon and mysterious motives. I would be surprised if it was him, but not blindsided.

Heinrich "Herr Trigger" Triggermensch
When the Monarch picked up H.E.L.P.eR. there a possibility that Mr. Trigger was still alive and stowed away on the cocoon. The guy was like a cockroach afterall.

Baron Werner Ünderbheit
Long shot simply because he hasn't been seen in a long time.

Phantom Limb
Long shot simply because he hasn't been seen in a long time.

Molotov Cocktease
Might of been assisting in the setup and fire a weapon at the Monarch mobile. Medium possibility since she wouldn't care about killing 24, but values Samson's life.

Dermott Fictel
Another favorite of mine. Brock's his father so maybe he was protecting him. 24 was icing on the cake for the lighter in the ass.

Mrs. Fictel
Mystery lady, might be at the skill level to protect Brock and tried to after hearing he was on the run.
